What's Caught'ya

Caught’Ya is a weekly writing grade. It is a program designed to reinforce grammar. Each morning there is a sentence on the board (written incorrectly) that students write in the correct way. When it is time for the students to check their work, each correction that should have been made, but was not, is written in and circled. Those corrections are worth ten points. Any correction the student made that was not needed is “slashed” and those count off one point. I choose one sentence per week to grade.
